Something blue

This beautifully blue bridal shower, put together by Jaimee Rose (who is, so coolly, a reporter for The Arizona Republic), looks like it was a blast.

Here are the deets:

The inspiration (and centerpiece): the blue Louboutins that the bride-to-be will be wearing on her wedding day.


The nosh: parmesan truffle popcorn and lemon-blueberry cupcakes (which are, brilliantly, sitting atop Tiffany boxes).



To imbibe: mini vanilla milkshakes with paper straws (I need these!).


The ladies also forewent the cheesy wedding shower games and instead crafted gorg peacock-feather headbands, plus had a fun photo shoot with all-blue accessories and props. I need to figure out how to become friends with Jaimee so I can be invited to her parties - and yes, I would fly to AZ for that! - she throws the best parties. Adore.
